The updated cabin gives occupants a more commanding view of the road. Toyota called on the expertise of companies like Microsoft, Intel and Salesforce to help create the NS4’s innovative technologies, including the Human-Machine Interface (HMI), It manages the vehicle’s various systems while minimizing distractions and memorizing driver preferences and habits.

A next-generation Pre-Collision System (PCS) warns of imminent rear-end or pedestrian collisions. Using a radar and cameras, PCS also detects lane departures, pedestrians and other vehicles and reacts by alerting the driver, lightly applying the brakes and tightening the front seat belts. The technology is currently available on select Lexus and Toyota models.
