2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback in Montreal

The new Toyota Corolla iM has been unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, and the brand-new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback is just around the corner for the coming season. Indeed, it is the 2nd generation of the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS 2.0) that will be delivered standard on the new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback. It will also offer a brand-new CVT Direct Shift Continuously Variable Transmission and also a new 6-speed iMT manual gearbox (EG60).

The CVT Direct Shift features a simulated Shiftmatic 10-speed sequential mode, Sport mode and optional shift paddles. It incorporates many new features, including the first commissioning report to the world in the CVT transmission of a passenger vehicle.

To accompany these new transmissions, a new 4-cylinder engine of 2.0 litres will be installed under the hood, the Dynamic-Force, of which we do not yet know its power. Lower, longer, wider and with a lower roofline than the iM, a sportier suspension, a sloped rear window and a dynamic and well-proportioned exterior design; in short, all the ingredients come together to make it a more sporty car.

In addition to this new look, this new engine and the new transmissions, the 2019 Corolla Hatchback will feature an 8-inch high-definition multimedia system on which you can access the audio and navigation system controls, as well as the Entune 3.0 applications, among others.
