The 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE coming soon
Sportier and more imposing, the new 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE arrives this fall with dramatic changes and a more engaging and sporty drive.

It was at the Chicago Auto Show that we first got a glimpse of the 2021 Toyota Highlander XSE, coming soon at your Spinelli Toyota dealer on Montreal's West Island, easily accessible from Laval. Although its exact release date is unknown, Toyota Canada is planning to bring it into the country a little later this year. You might not know it, but the letters XSE at Toyota are synonymous with sportiness, and to that end, a few unique elements were added to it.

Indeed, the new 2021 Highlander gets a specially tuned suspension, unique exterior styling, and interior accents that enhance its sporty look. These features include exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels with black trim, a dual exhaust with chrome tips, two-tone red and black leather upholstery, not to forget touches of carbon fiber here and there.

Completely redesigned and more imposing, the new XSE adds a new front fascia and lower front spoiler, exclusive to this model. The redesigned upper grille blends in with the lower air dam, the wider opening of which is integrated into the new bumper, which surmounts the spoiler. The distinctive headlamps feature a blacked out trim and incorporate vertical LED strip daytime running lights for a killer effect. Truly, the new Highlander’s got a hell of a look.

But it's not just the looks that make it a sportier SUV, the powertrain also plays a big part with re-tuned dampers to optimize its agility and a 3.5-litre V6 engine of 295 horsepower mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The XSE will be available with front-wheel drive or dynamic torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. However, despite its sportier stance, the XSE has managed to maintain its exceptional ride comfort.

Available this fall, the new Highlander XSE promises a lot of enjoyment among those who prefer a sportier ride without sacrificing the well-being of their passengers. So stay on the lookout and book your test drive as soon as possible.
