The Upcoming 2022 Toyota Tundra at Spinelli Toyota!
Completely redesigned, the upcoming 2022 Toyota Tundra pickup is looking better than ever. Let’s take a look at its long-awaited new features.

Completely redesigned, the upcoming 2022 Toyota Tundra is by far the best looking pickup ever built. The last generation was built in 2007 and was in dire need of an update, but the long wait for the new 2022 Tundra is going to be well worth it.

The Upcoming 2022 Tundra Is Spectacular

The 2022 Tundra looks nothing short of spectacular, especially with its white exterior which highlights the huge black hexagonal grille standing above the black bumper. Its hood is sharply sculpted with headlights that run along both sides of the hood.  Its black wheel arches mesh well to create an aggressive, sporty and downright intimidating look. Combined with the black-trimmed windows and black rims, the new look is a resounding success.

We expect Toyota Canada to announce the official release date and price of the stylish and highly-anticipated 2022 Toyota Tundra this fall. The interior is poised to be as great as the exterior thanks to numerous features, including:

-A huge touchscreen

-Red perforated leather upholstery for the TRD Pro

-A wireless charging tray

-An optional panoramic roof

2022 Tundra Engine Unveiled

We just don’t know yet which engine will power this Toyota truck, but rumours have it that it will be a twin-turbo 3.5 L V6 with 450 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. This engine would be paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. There is also talk of a hybrid engine, but no concrete information has been revealed on that topic either.

From the pictures that have been published, we can clearly see that the Tundra will be equipped with several driving modes, including:

-Tow/Haul

-Multi-Terrain (MTS)

-Crawl Control (DAC)

Both the 4Runner and the Tacoma already feature these driving modes, which are used to drive up and down steep hills as well as to overcome obstacles on the road.

One thing is for sure: the new 2022 Tundra will go into production later this year and we'll have a chance to discover it and test-drive it soon at your Spinelli Toyota Pointe-Claire dealership, just west of Montreal, easily accessible from the South Shore and Laval.
